About us

We're a South London-based RPG studio. We love RPGs. We hate grinding.

We are stripping all the chore from RPGs and are working on wonderful fantasy stories inspired by the richness of our own world; SEA BEYOND, our first game, draws from Taíno folklore and culture, among others.

After nearly a decade of working in QA on some of the world’s most beloved gaming franchises (Sonic The Hedgehog, Final Fantasy), we decided to start our own company and make the games we feel the world is missing.

In addition to the founders listed here, we also work with phenomenal partners & advisors who we will be naming in due time.

Daryl Vincent

Game Designer

Previously with SEGA and Square Enix in Localisation QA – the gamedev bug bit me and I wanted to create my own games, so I learned how to do just that. I'm obsessed with stories and have received awards for my writing (Sony Pictures & IFT).

I'm also an actor (Bunker Buddies, Seekers of the Shard), although I've taken a bit of a step back since starting Fail Forward Games!

Emma Parrett

Operations

I'm a co-founder of FFG. As an owner of two neo-sustainable companies in fashion and manufacturing, I am experienced with the trials start-up business face.

As busy as startup life gets, I always have time for Manga & Anime, Arcade & RPG Video Games, Solar/Cyberpunk aesthetics & all things art!

Zac Abrahams

Brand & Marketing

I am an experienced creative with clients spanning Disney, BBC, EA Sports & more. I believe in filling life with moments of joy & utilise creativity to bring these moments to life. I'm also obsessed with Power Rangers!

Head of Barketing

Garam ensures the team takes their screen breaks and gets enough steps in.

She also advocates for tasty crunch times at Fail Forward Games, rather than the sour ones the video game industry is usually known for.
